Happy new year!!

I've come back to England after 3 week holiday in Japan!
So lovely to visit actual temples & shrines I refer to for coming manga I'm doing now.

If you have a chance to go to Kyoto, Japan, I strongly recommend San jyu san gendo temple and Heian jingu shrine.
The shrine has the theme of 4 imaginary creatures, which depicts different features of nature:

Seiryu (blue dragon) - East / Spring / blue
Suzaku - (red phoenix) - South / Summer / red
Byakko (white tiger) - West / Autumn / white
Genbu (black Tortois) - North / Winter / black

It was so much fun finding out these mythical creatures themed on wells, buildings, and in a garden.
2012 is a year of dragon, let's make it strong and amazing year!! :D
